The offerings killed in Huaquechula, the famous Fair Flower Huauchinango, the Ritual Quetzalcoatl in Cholula, the Flying in Cuetzalan and the Puebla Events all coincide with the celebrations of the Battle of May 5 and are just a glimpse of the colors to be seen in the beautiful state of Puebla.



Consolidated as one of the most important events of this town, the Puebla Fair hopes to surpass the total number of visitors from the previous fair, which reached 1,250,000 visitors from all around the country. The fair marks the year's celebration of the heroic feat that took place in Puebla. The May fair in Puebla had one of the highest incomes in recent years, with over 100 thousand visitors in one day and an average of 60 thousand visitors on weekends. It was also announced that the largest pot of mole in the world is from this capital and thought to have been visited by thousands of domestic and foreign tourists.

May 5 marks the anniversary of the battle of Puebla, when French troops intended to invade Mexico but instead a battalion of Mexican soldiers came to show their support for the people of Mexico and overtook the French. General Ignacio Zaragoza's army defeated the French who at the time were the most powerful army in the world.

Now in the center of the fourth most important city in Mexico a civic military parade is held with more than 3,000 students who march along the Boulevard of Heroes on May fifth, this is thought to be the most beautiful parade in the country.

The director of tourism for Puebla, Marcela Dominguez announced that the largest pot of Mole in the world which is a meter and a half in diameter and two meters in height will be at the Puebla fair. The organizers of the event always try to innovate and break the record of the previous year.

30 guest chefs and 120 waiters will speak about those who are working to develop the largest casuela of mole Poblano in the world. The tasting will be the thirteenth of May at the Puebla fair, it will be free and consists of two or three tablespoons a piece of chicken mole, six tortillas and a sprinkling of sesame seeds, as it should be.

Marcela Dominguez said that the invitation is open for all citizens to enjoy and participate in the contest and other festival events. He expects more than eleven thousand visitors this year and invites all people of the world who are in this historic city at the time of the festival.
